What kinds of projects are supported by Axiom Project Manager?
Any kind. Capital, expense, engineering, marketing, maintenance, or whatever. APM lets you structure your project databases any way you like. We have clients tracking projects in virtually every industry: healthcare, chemicals, manufacturing, construction, movies, records, foodservice, you name it.

How much detail can I track?
Lots. Transactions can be assigned to Projects, Sub-projects, down through 5 vertical levels of Tasks. We also retain history forever. No purchase order, invoice, work order or other record is ever lost. If APM doesn’t make your auditors happy, nothing will.

How does financial data get into Axiom?
Usually through interfaces. We have interfaces to all major vendors’ financial packages. Otherwise, APM also has on-line data entry programs.

What do the reports look like?
You decide. In addition to standard reports, APM also has easy-to-use report writers that lets you craft your own reports. After you design a report, you can save it's definition for later use. We also provide an inquiry writer for ad-hoc looks at your projects right on your screen. The inquiry definitions can also be saved for later use.

What about security?
Projects are secured through the use of user profiles, menus, menu options, record level, field level security, and password. Nobody sees anything you don’t want them to see.

We have some pretty specific requirements. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Remember that APM’s flexibility lets you track your billion dollar construction project while tracking your colleague’s advertising campaign without modification. However, we are experienced in handling customizations for unique situations. We can also provide references for our custom work.

Is the system hard to set up right out of the box?
No! We have a sample data set company included with the software. You can easily copy any of the files in this sample company across to your new company. The set up does not have to be complicated to immediately start tracking projects. There are a few System Values that will take only a few minutes to set up, then start using the software. You can easily add functions and control files and tables later on after you are already tracking projects.
